Death of Peace

In order to pay respect to the soil and not pollute it, Zoroastrians put their dead in a pit to be eaten by animals, and this was a symbol of peace with the earth. Considering the environmental crisis of the world and the danger that threatens the earth – the only home accessible to mankind – I decided to pay homage to the forgotten ritual of keeping the fire lit. I traveled to Yazd and made rings of peace from olive branches and made a big fire next to this pit with a pile of pruned olive branches that burned for three days
